SportMed, more specifically, SportMed International bvba, with its registered office, Sionkloosterlaan 51, 2930 Brasschaat, Belgium, CBE number BE0884172024 and accessible via e-mail mail address info@sportmed.international (referred to as "we", "our", "us" and "SportMed" in the text below) acknowledges the importance of protecting your Personal Data and is committed to the responsible Processing of these Personal data as well as other personal information in accordance with applicable European laws for the protection of information.

Which information we collect exactly depends on which Services you use / wish to use.
Access to and use of Apps, websites and other online services

Use of the Services / visit to a Processor
When you visit or make an appointment with a Processor, which will mainly be, but is not necessarily limited to, to be guided and / or coached towards a healthy (er) lifestyle and / or improving physical performance , you must accept this Processor, either temporarily or permanently as a Trusted coach. You can limit the number of Trusted Coaches to a single Processor or make multiple Processors a Trusted Coach via the Services. The Processor / Trusted coach can, with your consent, collect additional information through measurements, test surveys, etc. We Process the Information entered into the Services by you or the Processor, as well as Information about your use of the Services to enable us and the Processors to perform their services, such as coaching, personal training, education, occupational health and welfare services, in the best possible way. We also Process this Information to improve the quality of the Services and to implement appropriate measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of your Information. One of the many results of the Processing of this Information is that it allows us to tailor our interactions with you, to inform you about the general and optimal use of the Services and about the development and improvement of the Services.
Reply to your request for information, orders or support
We process Personal Data and Information required to fulfill your request. For example, we collect your name and contact details to contact you and to support you. We also collect information such as the details about your request and your agreement with us, any invoice status and request for your satisfaction in our cooperation. Such Information is Processed for administrative purposes, in defense of our rights and in connection with the relationship between you and SportMed.
Visitor information
We register individuals who visit our sites and locations and may make use of camera surveillance for security reasons and security of persons and property, as well as for regulatory purposes. We reserve the right to outsource the services under this section to one of our partners.

Storage of Information
The Personal Data and the Information is stored in the SportMed CloudDB. Your Personal Data and Information will be processed for as long as your account is activated. Deactivation can be implemented in the following way:
· If you are a Consumer who comes into contact with us through one of the Processors who you recognize as a Trusted Coach, for example a professional such as a coach, personal trainer, teacher, fitness club owner / employee or corporate health and wellness provider, you can deactivate your account at your request will be done by the Trusted Coach in the Services,
· If you are a Consumer who contacts us directly, the deactivation of your account in the Services can be done via delete my account
After your account has been deactivated, the retention periods take effect. These vary depending on the type and classification of the Information. At the end of the retention period, your Personal Data will be made anonymous automatically.
Exchange of Information
In-Service privacy settings
For optimal use of the Services, we recommend that you provide Information in the Services, but it is your choice whether you want to. Commonly shared Personal Data in the Services are first name, last name, email address, preferred language, date of birth, gender and place of birth. You may add other information and / or payment details here if you wish to use paid Services. The Services offer you the option of restricting the sharing of your Information in the Services. You can change your privacy settings in the Services by going to your account settings.
Subsidiaries
As a global organization, we can share Information with our subsidiaries and transfer it to countries in the world where we do business.
Between subsidiaries controlled by SportMed, we only provide access to Personal Data and Information on a need-to-know basis, necessary for the purposes for which such access is granted.
External service providers
In some cases, we share Information with our external service providers to collect, store, analyze and otherwise process personal Information on our behalf. We use these third parties for various reasons, for example to provide support to our Processors and Consumers and to host and store Information. Moreover, we use them for administrative purposes, but also for marketing and sales purposes. Ultimately, external service providers enable us to provide the best services and to meet your requests. It goes without saying that when selecting external service providers, we take into account the way in which they secure and process information.
Cross-border exchange of Personal Data
Some of our external service providers operate outside the European Economic Area. That is why your Information may be transferred to a location outside of Europe. When this happens, appropriate security measures are taken to ensure an adequate level of protection of your Information.

· If you are a Consumer who contacts us through one of our Processors, for example a professional such as a coach, personal trainer, teacher, gym owner or corporate health and wellness provider, you can contact this Processor to exercise your rights, since this Processor manages (part of) your Personal Data and;
· If you are a Consumer who contacts us directly, and you want to exercise some of the rights described, please contact info@sportmed.international as we manage (part of) your Personal Information in this case.
In exercising one of your rights, but also in any other interaction, we may require specific Information or actions from you to confirm your identity. This is a security measure to ensure that Personal Information is not provided to a person who is not entitled to receive your Personal Information.
Complaints

If you believe that your rights have been violated, are dissatisfied with the handling of a complaint or you do not agree with the decision that we have in mind, you can file a complaint with a supervisory authority. For Belgium that is the Privacy Commission.
Information security
We acknowledge and take our responsibility seriously to protect your Information that you entrust to us. By implementing reasonably adequate security measures and the use of security technologies and organizational procedures, we want to protect your Information against loss, misuse or unauthorized access. For example, we use secure servers, use firewalls, encrypt Information and limit access to Personal Information by employees.
Changes to this Privacy Statement
Our services, including the Services, are constantly evolving and these services may change from time to time without prior notice. For this reason, we reserve the right to supplement this Privacy Statement or to change it in any other way and we will notify you when important changes are made to this Privacy Statement. We will indicate at the top or bottom of the Privacy Statement when the Privacy Statement was last updated.
